MEET OUR TEAM.

The Sanderum Centre has gone from strength to strength over recent years, with our client base, and the range of business support services we are able to provide, growing considerably as a result.

Headed by Caroline Cope as Managing Director, our amazing team comprises Dawn as Chinnor Centre Manager and Rebekah as Thame Centre Manager – a role she shares part-time with Clair, who is also Centre Manager at our third centre, OX9. The team all work incredibly hard together to provide a warm and welcoming working environment for everyone at each of our three centres.

If you’d like to know a little more us, we have put together a short summary below, however if you have any particular queries, or would like to meet us to discuss your requirements in person, please don’t hesitate to give us a call. We look forward to welcoming you to The Sanderum Centre soon.

Caroline Cope

Managing Director | ChINNOR & THAME

Caroline has worked for The Sanderum Centre for over 26 years, starting in the Accounts Department where she excelled at the financial side of business management; in no small part due to her surprising love of a good spreadsheet and all things Excel!

A natural chameleon, as Managing Director, Caroline believes that what you do has far greater impact than what you say, and in the day-to-day running of The Sanderum Centre, wears many different hats and juggles a myriad of responsibilities, alongside her hard-working and talented team. It was while working for Zest Developments – a property developing partner business of The Sanderum Centre – that Caroline discovered her passion and flair for interior design and colourful staging, a skillset she honed to perfection as the interior designer for our third business centre, OX9, involving the total renovation of our grade 2 listed Georgian building in Thame, and most recently, the renovation of Sanderum House – our first business centre in Chinnor.

Outside of work, Caroline loves socialising with friends and being in the garden with her beloved Tibetan terrier, Poppy. Our Centres are always very grateful to benefit from her green fingers, with seasonal floral displays in the OX9 courtyard, and – most recently – working with a talented local gardener on the design and planting of a brand new Living Wall at Chinnor, which is now the stunning focal point of the building’s external transformation.

Dawn Hazell

CHINNOR CENTRE MANAGER

Dawn joined us in 2020, working initially as Centre Co-ordinator, and quickly became indispensable to the team, which is why we’re delighted she’s now our Chinnor Centre Manager – a role she is absolutely perfect for!

Dawn came to The Sanderum Centre with a solid wealth of experience, not least the skills she gained running her own business alongside her husband, which is where she devotes her time when she’s not at Sanderum. Conscientious, hard-working and with incredible administrative and customer service skills, Dawn slotted right in with exactly the right personality and skillset. Calm, capable and extremely diligent with her work, Dawn is a fantastic asset to The Sanderum Centre team, and we feel so lucky to have her.

Clair Small

THAME CENTRE MANAGER / OX9 CENTRE MANAGER

Clair joined us in 2022, in a newly-created position of Client Support Administrator, a role she made her own and which later evolved into Centre Manager at our third site, OX9. More recently, Clair also took on the additional responsibility of Centre Manager at Sanderum Thame – a role she shares with newest team member, Rebekah.

With superb organisational and customer service-based skills gained over a varied career including financial and administrative positions, and a number of customer-facing roles – notably assistant manager of a local wine bar, and a veterinary referral hospital, Clair’s superb organisational skills and experience and her fun and friendly personality made her the perfect choice for joining our team, where she has excelled in every respect.

As a Thame resident for over 20 years, Clair is a wonderful ambassador of the town, having been involved with numerous local good causes and fund-raising initiatives, which have further developed the forward-thinking skills she brings to her role here with us. Outside of work, Clair enjoys good food and wine and spending time with family and friends, and we’re all absolutely delighted that she’s become such an integral and valued part of the Sanderum Centre team.

Rebekah Asbury

THAME CENTRE MANAGER

Rebekah is the newest member of the Sanderum team, joining us in June 2024, taking on the role of Thame Centre Manager, working part-time alongside Clair.

With a background working in the fashion industry in London, Rebekah moved to Thame 12 years ago to raise her family whilst working as a virtual PA. This breadth of administrative experience honed the skills and expertise that she is keen to bring to the Centre Manager role, and is why she was the perfect choice when we were looking to expand The Sanderum Centre team.

Rebekah’s warm, engaging personality and friendly manner make her a wonderful new addition to our team, and we are thrilled to have her on board. Outside of work, Rebekah enjoys family life and socialising with friends, with a keen interest in art, fashion, food, and travel.
